Prof. George Nehme is a renowned economist with a broad expertise in economic analysis
for public and private institutions in Lebanon and the GCC countries.
He often acts as an economic advisor for various institutions and was a program
coordinator at the Ministry of Administration and Development in the Government
of Qatar for three years. He was an academic consultant and senior trainer at the
World Trade Organization WTO in Switzerland. He is now the President of one of the
oldest Lebanese universities founded in 1875, Université La Sagesse.
He has a B.S and an M.S in economics from the Lebanese University and a Masters in
Money, Finance, and Banking from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University. He holds a
double PhD diploma in economic science and education from Université de
Bourgogne, France and the Lebanese University. George Nehme has multiple articles
and publications in scientific journals in Lebanon and Europe.
